A 90-Year-Old Grandmother Rescued from Bulandshahr: A Story of Humanity and Hope

On 30th February 2026, members of the MASS team—Gopal Shashwat and Joshika Sharma—received urgent information from local residents about a heartbreaking situation. A 90-year-old elderly mother had reportedly been abandoned by her children nearly three months ago and was living in extremely poor conditions.

When the team arrived at the location, the reality was even more distressing than expected. The elderly woman was suffering from severe headache and fever. Upon closer care and cleaning, it was discovered that her scalp was infested with numerous maggots. Her condition reflected deep neglect and pain, leaving the team emotionally shaken.

Understanding the urgency, the MASS team immediately took action. She was safely rescued and brought to the आश्रम (shelter), where she is now receiving proper medical attention, care, and dignity—something every human being deserves.
