Shri Shyam Vridhashram – A Home for the Abandoned Elderly

In today’s fast-paced world, it is heartbreaking to see how some elderly parents, who once dedicated their entire lives to raising their children, are abandoned in their old age. After putting in years of love, sacrifice, and hard work, many are thrown out of their homes by the very children they nurtured.

At Shri Shyam Vridhashram, Lal Kuan, Ghaziabad, we strive to restore dignity, care, and love to these forgotten elders. At present, 14 elderly residents live in our ashram. Each of them has a story of pain and abandonment, but here, they also find comfort, family, and belonging.

🌸 Serving Parents is the Greatest Deed

We believe there is no greater act of humanity than serving one’s parents. The residents of Shri Shyam Vridhashram are cared for with complete dedication—physically, emotionally, and financially. The ashram is run entirely free of cost, ensuring that every resident is provided with:

• Nutritious meals and medical care

• Comfortable living arrangements

• A homely atmosphere filled with compassion

• Emotional support and dignity in their later years

श्री श्याम वृद्धाश्रम – बेसहारा बुज़ुर्गों का आश्रय

आज की तेज़ रफ़्तार ज़िंदगी में यह देखकर हृदय विदारक होता है कि कुछ बुज़ुर्ग माता-पिता, जिन्होंने अपने बच्चों को पालने-पोसने में अपना पूरा जीवन समर्पित कर दिया, बुज़ुर्गावस्था में अपने ही घर से निकाल दिए जाते हैं। वर्षों का प्यार, त्याग और मेहनत देने के बाद भी कई माता-पिता उन्हीं बच्चों द्वारा ठुकरा दिए जाते हैं जिन्हें उन्होंने जीवन दिया।

श्री श्याम वृद्धाश्रम, लाल कुआँ, ग़ाज़ियाबाद में हम इन उपेक्षित बुज़ुर्गों की गरिमा, देखभाल और प्यार को वापस लौटाने का प्रयास करते हैं। वर्तमान में हमारे आश्रम में 14 बुज़ुर्ग माता-पिता रहते हैं। हर एक के पास पीड़ा और उपेक्षा की अपनी कहानी है, लेकिन यहाँ उन्हें परिवार, अपनापन और सुकून मिलता है।

🌸 माता-पिता की सेवा – सबसे बड़ा पुण्य

हम मानते हैं कि माता-पिता की सेवा से बड़ा कोई मानवीय कार्य नहीं है। श्री श्याम वृद्धाश्रम के निवासी पूरी निष्ठा से देखभाल पाते हैं—शारीरिक, मानसिक और आर्थिक रूप से। आश्रम पूरी तरह निःशुल्क संचालित होता है और यहाँ प्रत्येक निवासी को मिलता है:

• पौष्टिक भोजन और चिकित्सीय देखभाल

• आरामदायक रहने की व्यवस्था

• करुणा और अपनत्व से भरा पारिवारिक माहौल

• भावनात्मक सहारा और जीवन के अंतिम पड़ाव में गरिमा

हमारा आश्रम केवल रहने का स्थान नहीं है—यह वह जगह है जहाँ बुज़ुर्ग सम्मान और अपनापन फिर से पाते हैं। यहाँ उन्हें बोझ नहीं समझा जाता, बल्कि माता-पिता, शिक्षक और बुज़ुर्ग मानकर निस्वार्थ प्रेम और सेवा दी जाती है।
